• Expected Imperfections: Chips, pinholes, and other minor imperfections are common in authentic Zellige tiles and are not considered manufacturing defects.
• Blending: It is highly recommended to mix pieces from multiple cartons prior to installation to achieve a balanced, natural shade variation across the wall.
• Grouting & Wet Areas: These tiles look beautiful installed with or without grout, and can accommodate a variety of grout joint thicknesses. However, when installing in a wet area, both grouting and sealing are strictly necessary.
• Recommended Overage: Industry standards recommend purchasing a 15% overage to account for tile cuts, potential breakage, and future repairs.
